EBSNI carried out sound insulation and airtightness testing across a large build to rent development on a tight programme. They coordinated test visits around our trades, were on site when they said they would be, and dealt directly with the site team when remedial sealing was needed. We will use them again.
We appointed EBSNI as airtightness consultants on a 16 storey Passivhaus Purpose Built Managed Student Accommodation scheme in Belfast, which was the first of its kind on the island of Ireland. Their airtightness testing strategy identified potential leakages for rectification at the earliest possible stages of construction and the whole building air tightness test passed the requirements under the Passivhaus Classic criterion first time. EBSNI were both extremely supportive and proactive on this project and demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the Passivhaus Certifiers requirements contributing to the projects overall success.
